Ploblemas de instalación en Windows (particion D)

Hola

Estoy instalando postgres en windows en la partición D, cuando el
intalador me muestra change selecciono D, el instalador comienza a
instalar pero cuando va como por el 80% me muestra el siguiente error.

Failed to run initdb: 1!
Please see de logfile in 'd:\Archivos de
programa\PostgresSQL\8.1\tmp\initdb.log'.
Note! You must read/copy this logfile before you click 0k, or it will
be automatically removed

y retrocede el error, alguien por favor me puede ayudar para resolver
ese error no quiero instalar la aplicacion en C

soy usuaria novata
