I've just fixed a minor bug in the datestyle handling in the jdbc driver
that was caused by two spaces being added after NOTICE: in notifications
being sent from the backend.

This broke how the jdbc driver discovered what datestyle is in use.

Hopefully, the changes I've made should make it more resilient to this
type of change.
