I spent a fun day today working the SeaPUG booth at LinuxFest in Bellingham, alongside Lloyd Albin and Robert Bernier. Very busy day. My voice is hoarse after chatting up with some of the hundreds of attendees strolling past our booth. Met lots of interesting folks. Some people are database novices, some old pros, some MySQL users, and many were just curious to see the Raspberry Pi computers laying on our table running the Postgres server and pgAdmin app.
If anyone else is free tomorrow, please volunteer to help staff our booth. Both Robert and Lloyd have presentations tomorrow, so they could use some help to cover the otherwise empty booth.
The drive up to Bellingham is less than two hours from Seattle, with pretty views. And countless Starbucks, McDonalds, and Indian Casinos along the way.
No cost to attend LinuxFest.
