Where was this positive feedback on this point? On this thread I see
one message strongly against and one positive.

Count me as a second negative.

Thread-oriented views are nice. The feedback was that we already had
one. Perhaps we just need to make it the primary view?

Reactive displays are good. But just making things only work on a
narrow screen isn't. It needs to work well for both orientations.
