The only people who could help based upon this is those who are in the
same situation...
You are going to have to provide logging showing actual errors if you
expect to get any reasonable amount of help from anyone else not using this
product.
You might also want to describe how it is that 9.6 was installed on this
machine in the first place. And what kind of "linux under the hood" is
involved if you know.
