Out of memory!! EN linux con Postgres :s

Este error me acaba de salir en uno de mis servidores y la verdad estoy super preocupado.
Mi sistema operativo es debian Etch 4.0 con Postgres 8.3.7

El sistema se frizo y no hacia nada ni podia conectarse nadie solo respondia a los ping
Solo le pude tirar foto a las pantallas q salieron donde decia out of memory

Alguein podria darme mas pistas donde seguir investigando para determinar porque paso esto?
Es la primera vez que consigo algo asi :(
