Looks like our presentations help out more than just our local people. We were able to help out Joep in Belgium get Postgres and pgAdmin III up and running on a RaspberryPI.
This is a big reason to make sure we get all of our presentations posted on our website.

Hi Lloyd,
Just for the record: Everthing (postgres, pgadmin) runs fine on my RPi!
Thx,
Joep
Hi Lloyd,
An immediate reply, many thanks for that!
It seems that I didn’t read the presentation well.
To impatient, a rookie mistake… :-(
Tomorrow I will follow your presentation more carefully.
And check out the suggested PostgreSQL URL tool (off course).
As told I am a complete beginner regarding PostgreSQL but a I am seasoned Oracle DBA.
So, it is nice to “play” with other databases.
I found in the documentation the chapter “39.12. Porting from Oracle PL/SQL”.
A very interesting part for me, and the tool “ora2pg” seems to be intriguing too.
But lets build some basic experience and play with the Raspberry Pi.
Be sure, I will keep your SeaPUG hint in mind!
Best regards and thanks again,
Joep
