I would think the answer is yes.

pljava allows you to create java functions, and triggers invoke functions

eg

CREATE TRIGGER sometrigger
BEFORE UPDATE
ON schema.table
FOR EACH ROW
EXECUTE PROCEDURE yourfunction();
