Dear PostgreSQLers,

Few days ago I posed a question about
usage in a real-time environment etc.

Here is a better version of that question:

As I understand PostgreSQL still has table
level locking when multiple users access
the database. This hardly allows for a
multi-user database server.

Now, I may be interested in giving a hand
here. Can any old-timer provide me with some
guidance please. Any academic sources on that,
how hard is it, any body alreadyy working on it,
etc. etc.

C'mon some light, please?

And, thanks for any.
