Hi,

If you have RedHat 5.0, you are probably in ELF kernel.
In fact this distribution support both, ELF and a.out
for compatibility with old programs.

I think the majority of Linux distribution are now in ELF.
a.out was the begining of Linux. So I think you don't have
to take care of this. Now all programs that you can download
from the WWW are running under ELF.

Who is using a.out ? If i said stupid things please correct
my point of view...
