I want to create a web-based database of restaurants with the following
variables: name, phone number, address, area, food, price (searchable by
name, area, food, price) and also a database of nightclubs with variables:
name, phone number, address, area, music, type (searchable by name, area,
music, type). I approximate that the database will have a total of 500-1000
entries. If the visitor wants to find, for example, a Chinese restaurant in
the downtown area for under 20 bucks, then he/she chooses Chinese in the
food drop down menu, downtown in the area drop down menu and under $20 in
the price drop down menu and then clicks "Search". Then the program filters
out the matching restaurants and writes the HTML: the restaurant name, a
logo, the phone number and the address. I would do all the data entry
(seeing as how this is the most tedious part) and I would hire you to handle
the code. This is from my system administrator: "You would need to use PERL
and connect to our postgresql sql database with the DBI module."

Let me know if you are interested and then we can discuss details and wages,
Jonathan Afilalo
