I've uploaded a new source tarball and some binary distribs for a beta 5
version of PL/Java. In addition to the provided binaries, this version
has also been successfully tested on x86_64 and ia64 Linux platforms,
with both Java 1.4 and Java 1.5, and with JVM's from Sun and BEA (JRockit).
Some bugs have been fixed, see
http://gborg.postgresql.org/project/pljava/task/taskshow.php?394, and
there's better Makefile support for compiling on machines that are pure
GCJ (i.e. Linux boxes that have no Java installed).
