Hi,
Sorry, I'll elaborate: there is no editable textarea present so you can't
type anything in.

This happens independently of the context (database selected/table selected)
or how I get to the window (Click the button with the tooltip 'Execute
Arbitrary SQL Queries' as well as Tools -> Query Tool menu item)
