I'm not seeing this using OS X 10.3.9 and pg 8.0.2. But your best bet
is to post this to the pgadmin support list
(http://archives.postgresql.org/pgadmin-support/) along with any info
you can get from the crash log. You can find the crash log at
~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/pgAdmin3.crash.log.
