Hi,

When I ran PostgreSQL 7.1.3 and needed to do a bulk load, I stopped the
postmaster, I turned of fsync (fsyns false in postgresql.conf OR option -F
at startup), and I restarted the popstmaster.

Now, with PostgreSQL 7.2, the time of the load is the same with fsync or
without fsync. I have tested this on Linux and AIX.

Is there something else to do with PostgreSQL 7.2 ?
