Hello,

I'm a new postgres 7 user.

I tried to dump and restore my db but I get errors on several lines.

I analyzed the lines giving errors and think that they are generated by special chars, carriage returns, double quotes etc..
Those lines where inserted by html forms.

Where can I find the rules (or some hints) for characters substitution to correctly insert data in the db?

Thanks a lot

Paolo
