namespace?

Sorry, new at this. I did try to search the docs, but didn't turn up anything
useful.

I've created a db using just "create database phpws;" and it worked. now,
trying to create tables, I just get:

phpws=# CREATE TABLE branch_sites ( branchName varchar(20));
ERROR: No namespace has been selected to create in

Any clues?
