Somehow PG 6.5.3 is now bunged (on my system). If I try to do a
pg_dump dbname
the response is:
NOTICE: get_groname: group # not found
getTables(): SELECT failed. Explanation from
backend: 'pqReadData() -- backend1 closed the channel
unexpectedly.

Similarly, doing a \z within psql gets a similar result.
Vacuum and vacuum analyze have no effect on this problem.

This is a nasty problem! Any help resolving this would be appreciated!
