While I've tried various GUI IDEs for python (boa constructor, eric, SPE,
and a couple whose names I've forgotten), I keep coming back to emacs with
its python support. The speedbar tool is excellent for loading different
modules and their classes/functions, but I've not found something to use for
debugging with emacs. I've used pdb and winpdb and they're OK, but not
efficient. (Perhaps I've not spent enough time to use them to maximum
efficiency.)
Is anyone else using emacs? If so, what addons do you find useful for both
coding and debugging?
Rich
