nodeREAD error

Hi, I have installed postgresql 6.5b3 and b4 but when I try to create a
user or a DB I get
ERROR: nodeRead: Bad type 0
createuser: database access failed.

and the logs are:

Now i see that in the debug there is :
RemotePort = 0

why this?
