Dear Sir,
Before i start i will let u know of the hardware setup. There is a linux
(redhat 7.1) server on which we have the postgresql (ver 7.0.3) databases.
I have a windows 98/2000 clients which the application is residing. i have
java1.3 loaded on it. Using ODBC i am able to connect to the database but
sometimes multiple queries result in fatal errors.
now i want to test and see if using JDBC whether i will be able to connect
to the databse. i have downloaded the necessary drivers for postgres
7.0.3. Can you guide me on what is the next step i have to take.
Regards
Alex
