Oh yeah. It's on my wish/todo list. But I just looked at some of those
things the other day and it looks like for a complete solution, much of
the makefiles will simply need to be scrapped and rewritten. So I don't
expect to bother with that soon.

The latest weirdness I experienced was in fact that the clean target
compiled half the source before deciding to delete it ...
