> Job Responsibilities:
> - Design and implement complex and high-performance schemas, highly
> tuned queries and stored procedures (business logic for both data
> inject as well as report generation) in PG/PSQL, perl, etc.
> - Ensure quality of stored procedures by maintaining a suite of
> database unit test cases
> - Maintain automated database schema upgrade process
> - Work with other internal groups to define DB requirements and
solutions
> - Troubleshoot performance or correctness issues as needed
> - Basic configuration management duties - new versions, source code
> branching, etc.

> Job Requirements:
> - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree required.
> - Experience in database design and development supporting high-
> performance, database-driven web applications
> - Minimum 5 years of database development experience, including the
> development of stored procedures
> - Minimum 3 years experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL v5+ on Linux
> - Practical experience with high-volume databases
> - Ability to tune queries and design solutions for performance and
scalability
> - Proficiency with scripting languages - perl, bash, PHP, etc.
