Hello,
I installed RH 6.2 on a pentiumII 333 Mhz, and connected it to a PIII-500 Mhz with Windows 98 and Micro$oft office 97, I made a program on the PIII and that worked properly, then when I tried to install this program on a couple of 486 machines with Windows-95, Micro$oft Office 97 and 16MB of RAM problems started arrizing such as things getting deleted, etc ... !
I understand it is not customary to have 486 any more, but in my case I can not avoid it.
Now the difference between the two computers is the following
PIII=500Mhz, 128MB RAM, Windows 98
486=100Mhz, 16MB RAM, Windows 95
The office is the same on both machines so is the ODBC Driver, needless to say that the Server is the same.
Any body here nows where the problem might be comming from. and If it is possible to make things work in a stable manner.
One more thing is Office 2000 better then Office 97 with Postgresql 6.5 and ODBC 6.5?
regards,
Rony.
