Dave- it sounds like your netscape doesn't know that a .jar file should be
downloaded. I'm not sure how to tell it otherwise, but if you'll tell me
which version of the jar file you're trying to get, I'll be happy to
download it & send it to you as an e-mail attachment.
It shouldn't matter what your hardware/OS platform is- a jar file will work
as well on solaris as linux. (java is cool that way!) You just need to make
sure you have the appropriate version for your JVM and postgresql versions.
