Hello,

We will soon be holding our annual elections for the PostgreSQL Europe
board. This time, Guillaume Lelarge, Dave Page, and Andreas Scherbaum will
be stepping down as they have served their two year terms. They, along with
other members of PostgreSQL Europe are invited to stand for (re)election.

The election timetable is as follows:

* Nominations open: Jan, 12th (Tuesday)
* Nominations close: Jan, 26th (Tuesday)
* Voting opens: Feb, 2nd (Tuesday)
* Voting closes: Feb, 16th (Tuesday)
* Result announcement: Feb, 17th (Wednesday)

Please review http://www.postgresql.eu/about/elections/ which details
how the elections work, how to vote, and how to nominate a candidate to
stand for election.

NOTE: In order to vote in the election, you must be a paid member of
PostgreSQL Europe at the time of the election (Feb, 2nd - Feb, 16th 2015) and
for at least 4 weeks before the voting begins on Feb, 2nd. See
https://www.postgresql.eu/about/membership/ for information on joining
PostgreSQL Europe. It is recommended that all existing members check their
membership status as soon as possible to ensure it hasn't lapsed.

Thank you,
Daniel, on behalf of PostgreSQL Europe board
