Don't misunderstand me, I'm not against commercial companies advertising their products and services on the websites - I agree, I think it's a good thing. I just don't think the community projects should get zero exposure, which is effectively whats happening now. We need to strike a balance imho so that users can see easily that they have both commercial and FOSS options, and not have to figure out what pgFoundry or GBorg are just to find an alternative.

What about adding the old project ads into the remaining ads.postgresql.org set?
