I am afraid that there is no reasonable way to version
PostgreSQL's SQL dialect other than the PostgreSQL
version (currently at 8.2.5).
There is the SQL standard, which is versioned in
with the year of the publication, but although
PostgreSQL strives to stick as close to the standard
as reasonably possible, the differences are numerous.
