Hi there,

I have a server running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. On this machine, I have the
following PostgreSQL version installed:

PostgreSQL 9.3.5 on X86 64-unkown-linux-gnu, compiled by gcc (Ubuntu/Linaro
4.6.3-1ubuntu5) 4.6.3, 64-bit

Ubuntu has been prompting me to upgrade my distribution to '14.04.1 LTS'
for a few months now. But I've resisted as I'm nervous about it causing
problems with my PostgreSQL database. It's essential to the work that I am
doing at the moment.

So my question is, am I worrying over nothing? Should I just go ahead and
upgrade Ubuntu distribution?

Thanks

James
