./configure --prefix=/home/craig/pg/10 --enable-cassert --enable-debug
--enable-tap-tests --with-python
make -s clean
make -s -j4
make check

results in the crash here.

if I add

CFLAGS=""

to the arguments (which suppresses the default "-O2"), or pass

CFLAGS="-O0"

then the crash goes away.

$ python --version
Python 2.7.11

$ lsb_release -a
