Hi team,

We have a warm standby server running on postgres 9.2, by using log
shipping. My problem here is that the quantity of new WALs being generated
is higher than the ones being applied into the warm standby server.

The standby machine's disks, memory, network and CPU speeds should be
enough, and I can not upgrade the postgres version right now.

Is there a way I can change some configuration on postgres side
(postgresql.conf) that can help to reduce current lag?

Thanks.
