In poking about Amazon's PostgreSQL titles recently, I found two that I had
not seen before:

PostgreSQL 9 Administration Cookbook LITE: Configuration, Monitoring, &
Maintenance:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1849516421/ref=ox_sc_act_title_7?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

PostgreSQL Administration Cookbook: LITE Edition

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1849516200/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Both have 2011 copyrights.

Although the titles are *very* similar, these don't appear to be the same,
however, they do resemble the information found in the lengthier 2010 tome
(which I already have...):

PostgreSQL 9 Administration Cookbook

http://www.amazon.com/PostgreSQL-Admin-Cookbook-Simon-Riggs/dp/1849510288/ref=pd_sim_sbs_b_2

By scouring the table of contents, it appears that these "newer" LITE
editions are subsets of the older volume. It does not appear that there is
any new material in these newer offerings.

I am *very* much a fan of Simon Riggs' 2010 work (along with Greg Smith's
PostgreSQL 9.0 High Performance also published by Packt...). If there is
new material in these LITE editions, I will be happy to purchase them, but
upon first glance on what information Amazon provides, these LITE editions
don't appear to contain anything new. Can anyone here confirm?

Thanks.

Jim
