That's correct, it's in the header only. We had to stop adding new MIME
parts to messages because it caused a large amount of the list email to be
considered spam by major providers. The headers is a standard way to do it.
This was outlined in the email Stephen sent about the migration.

gmail in particular sometimes shows an unsubscribe link directly based on
the header and sometimes now. And they don't document exactly what the
rules are to show them -- they document a minimum set (which we do now
fulfill, but didn't use to), but this set is not a guarantee for gmail to
actually show the link. For example in this thread the original email (the
one just containing unsubscribe) *does* include a link to unsubscribe. But
a fair amount of others don't. (Headers are still visible of course, but
not without clicking through)
