You'll still be able to open a query tool from the tree. That won't change.
For drag and drop, we're looking into doing something similar to how you
can drag/drop into a folder that isn't initially shown in macOS Finder.
Keep in mind that we're also planning on keeping the current design as an
option, plus you can also still open in new browser tabs or desktop windows.
