Hi,
Hope you can help.
I am about to install postgresql-7.3.4 on redhat7.3.
The installation doc instructs as follows:
using default configuration to build the server and utilities, as well as all client applications and interfaces that require a C compiler. All files will be installed under /usr/local/pgsql by default.
But I am getting no such file or directory. I checked the bin directory that I can not locate the configure script. Do I need to install the script first or is it a directory I have not worked out as yet.
As you will have gathered, I am new to postgres and Linux. you help will be most appreciated.
Regards,
Anthony
