Josh Drake will either be doing is PostgresSQL Performance presentation either tonight or next month.

If Josh is not able to make it tonight, I will do a presentation on "How to corrupt your data by accident" and by coincidence, I showed this problem to Josh Drake about 3 years ago. At that time we thought it was a Postgres bug and I could not duplicate the issue. I have just recently ran into the issue again and was able to replicate it over and over again so that I could track down the commands. Low and behold I found that it is not a Postgres bug but instead a Postgres feature.
