Hi,
first of all, a big thank you and congratulations to all who were involved
in making the new versions :-)
After upgrade from 1.10.5 / 8.4.4, I have
- pgadmin 1.12.0 compiled from source
- postgres 9 installed from RPM (fedora 12 64bit)
Observations:
- I had previously reported a crash in the "Server Status" function of
pgAdmin3 (didnt work at all for me). It does not crash anymore, but when the
"log_filename" parameter is set wrong for the instrumentation, pgAdmin3 goes
stale after showing an error message. Net effect is that I have to kill and
restart pgAdmin3.
- When I load lots of records into the "Edit Data" window, pgAdmin3 will
become unstable and sometimes crash. Dont know how to reproduce. Seen in
1.10.5 and also in the new 1.12.
On the bright side, the DB has an overall snappier feeling than 8.4.4, even
with the default settings.
Greetings,
RD
