There is no 8.04 release of PostgreSQL as such - the closest would be
8.4. There is no 9.4 however, and won't be for at least 3 - 4 years.

We are an Open Source project, not a company, so do not issue such
documents, however I can tell you that PostgreSQL 8.4 and 9.0 are
considered fully supported on Ubuntu 10.10 and 9.04.
