Hello, I am testing PostgreSQL for my company. I have it up and running
and am fairly happy with it. One question is how do you backup? The
only function I see that would kinda do it is the pg_dump function. Do
I have to automate this function with cron or something? Then automate
a copy to tape also? Please let me know. I am currently using version
6.3.2 but will upgrade to 6.4 soon. I'm on RedHat Linux 5.1. Any other
general comments would be appreciated also.
Thanks in advance,
Matt O'Connor
