Our build servers run RHEL (for 8 and 9), and CentOS (for 7). Testing
RHEL 8 packages only against Rocky Linux 8.

Since you say they are binary compatible, you can use them -- but there
are not enough resources to verify packages on every derivative, and I
picked up Rocky Linux over others, therefore cannot add "official"
support for Alma.
