There was a brief period of time during 6.5 where the ODBC and JDBC
interfaces were broken. It could very well have existed when beta 1 was
created. This is fixed in the current code. Hopefully beta2 will be
available soon.

Subject: [GENERAL] ODBC with 6.5beta1

Hi,

Has anyone successfully used ODBC with PostgreSQL 6.5beta1? I've
been
trying to for a few days now and can't seem to get it to work. I've
tried
compiling on Debian 2.1 and RedHat 5.2 and have the same results.
When I
try to connect to the database, I get an error on the server about
an
unexpected EOF from the client connection. Since the connect is
apparantly
failing, any operation after that fails.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Rich
