in more than130 public schools, including many charter schools, which
it operates under management contracts with local school districts and
charter boards.
Edison is currently seeking a qualified Database Analyst to assist in
the deployment and ongoing maintenance of more than 150
remotely-deployed PostgreSQL databases (running on RedHat Linux
servers) coast-to-coast, plus several overseas, from a data center in

succeed. Proficient knowledge of SQL92, and 1-2 years experience with
production level DBMS systems in a UNIX/Linux environment a must.
Specific knowledge of PostgreSQL and Oracle 9i a plus. Must have
excellent communication and customer service skills. Competitive
compensation and the chance to work in a tight-knit team in an exciting
hard-charging environment. No visa sponsorship, no relocation.
Edison Schools offers an outstanding benefit program, including
comprehensive health benefits, 401(k), life and disability benefits,
Employee Assistance Programs and much more. If you are interested,
