Not sure everyone saw this last week so I'm posting it here:

http://gigaom.com/2014/01/08/benioff-were-still-an-oracle-but-not-just-an-oracle-shop/

“We are a very good customer of Oracle, we built on the Oracle database
initially and continue to use it, it’s an important part of our
infrastructure but we are constantly looking at all our core
technologies, not just Oracle. Are they still current, modern? How do we
update and evolve it? We’ve brought in lots of new tech into our infra…
that’s where all the Postgres stuff comes from,”

Not exactly a declaration of love but still it shows that Postgres is
more and more important there, despite the huge Oracle-Salesforce deal
last year.
