What is the current Blob/Clob status - I read in an email from last year
that postgresql was moving to a Toast implementation using bytea/text
types - with an eventual move to proper blob/clob type support in
Postgresql via wrappers. However after downloadig the src from CVS and
using Clob with Text type columns I get an error about bad integers -
looking at the source I see that blob/clobs are still based on Large
Objects.
Is this area still being actively developed?
Regards
Mark
