Howdy:
Although I've been assigned to be the DBA for our
database, I'm by no means qualified for such a task;
however, I want to be.
I know there are some classes for other databases
for such a thing (intro to DB / RDBMS) and I've
seen the PostgreSQL site about the "Big Nerd Ranch"
(Sorry Bruce, but I don't think I'll make that one ...)
where there will be a class on PostgreSQL ...
Outside of that, where can I get an actual (in a language I can
understand!) class on becoming a DBA and are there other classes
for PostgreSQL out there?
Besides, isn't the Big Nerd Ranch for experienced PostgreSQL
DBAs?
Thanks!
