stuff to try:
try installing replace psqlodbc.dll and rerunning psqlodbc registry
patch.
do a system search for alternate copies of psqlodbc.dll and destroy
them.
look through registry for connx stuff and try deleting that
reboot.

Any one have any idea what causes this?
I tested the connx odbc driver yesterday (my connection string worked
prior to this test).
I am able to connect using a dsn, but my regular connection string does
not use dsn.

It used to work and is woking on other machines, so I must have some
issue, but I reloaded postgres.
