Topic: DOMAINs
Speaker: David Wheeler, Kineticode
When: Tuesday, February 20, 2007, 7pm
Where: FreeGeek, 1731 SE 10th Ave
Ever find yourself using the same combinations of data types,
defaults, and constraints over and over again? Want to learn how to
create new PostgreSQL data types without writing a lick of C? Well
come to the Portland PostgreSQL Users Group meeting on February 20th
to learn the magic of domains, PostgreSQL's data type subclassing
functionality. Speaker David Wheeler will offer a brief overview of
the domain system, and then guide you through the creation of a new
"UPC/EAN" (you know, bar codes) data type.

Thank you, David!
Afterward, we go to the Lucky Lab!
There is a high probability that I will make cupcakes for this meeting.
