We are looking for a PostGreSQL expert to help us design, implement and migrate to a high-availability, high-performance PostGreSQL database platform. Knowledge of PostGreSQL performance tuning, High Availability architecture options, backup and recovery strategies, SQL and performance tuning are required. We are currently running Oracle, so that some Oracle experience would also be an asset. Our environment consists of multiple multi-terabyte databases running on enterprise class Intel servers, Linux, and Hitachi SAN with a mix of SSD, SAS and SATA.
This is a contract position. The rate is $90/hr.
