I am currently setting up two pcs to run with apache, php, and postgres. I
am looking over the Optimization that I can do with postgres and would like
some sound advice. I also have some questions concerning optimization
Systems:
Redhat linux 7.2 with new kernel additions
1.5 gig cpu
1 gig memory
80 gig hd
I was thinking of specifying about 512 for the kernel shmmax and shmall. Is
this a good idea? What are some optimizations that you would suggest.
