On further inspection:

* postgres_fdw pushes down sorts, joins, UPDATEs and DELETEs, enhancing
federated database support

How about:

* postgres_fdw now optimized for sorts, joins, UPDATEs and DELETEs,
enhancing federated database support

"pushes down" means pretty much nothing to the layman.
